Welcome to Haven International
A Safe Harbor for the Vulnerable. A Catalyst for Change.
At Haven International, we exist to prevent, rescue, and restore lives impacted by human trafficking. We provide safe housing, compassionate care, and long-term support to survivors so they can rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.
Mission & Vision
Mission
To help eradicate human trafficking and related exploitation by addressing systemic root causes globally and implementing targeted, community-driven prevention efforts locally, while providing comprehensive resources, unwavering advocacy, and essential support to potential victims, survivors, and their families worldwide.
Vision
To cultivate a world where every individual is free from the threat of human trafficking and exploitation—where communities are equipped to prevent harm, and survivors are empowered with the comprehensive support, dignity, and opportunities they need to thrive.
Why We Exist
Human trafficking is a modern-day atrocity affecting over 27 million people globally.
- Florida is consistently ranked among the top states in the U.S. for human trafficking cases, typically ranking third behind California and Texas
- Hillsborough County (Tampa) ranks the highest in number of reports of human trafficking, followed by Miami-Dade, Broward, Duval and Orange County
- Majority of reports involved commercial sexual exploitation of children
The statistics are staggering. But at Haven International, we believe every number is a name and a life worth saving.
